It's hard to believe that the summer in Boise has come to an end... Hard work, wonderful audiences, a great cohort...

And there are many things that I won't soon forget....
WinCo... A truly great, employee-run, inexpensive grocery store
with selection and prices to die for...
(Time just called it "Walmart's worst nightmare")

The gorgeous $15-a-pound fresh Idaho morels at the farmers' market...

The Spanish delicacies at the tiny but well-stocked Basque Market...

Living in a place where I could walk outside and notice how cool it was when the temperature was finally in the low 90s... And feeling very pleased with myself as I biked to rehearsal...
Until I was passed by a much speedier group... in their late 80s...
Flying M... Immediately added to my list of all-time favorite coffee shops!
It ranks right up there with Muddy Waters in Burlington, VT.

The Blue Moon a few weeks ago... in a place where it could truly be seen and appreciated...

Running into locals who wanted to discuss the reasons behind some of the cuts, and word changes, and re-gender-izing in Much Ado...
The fantastic crew working backstage and the stage management team
who took such extraordinary care of me...

Getting to know my host, Jerry Brady, Renaissance Man... A privilege I cherish...
Being with this wonderful company during a summer of such momentous change in civil and equal rights...
And now it's September and I'm back home in Yonkers... for almost a fortnight before heading back to Cleveland to bring director Joe Hanreddy's beautiful Richard III to the Great Lakes Theater.
It's been quite a year so far!
