My Heart, My Heart...

My heart... My heart...

I returned to Arthur Avenue today.  Teitel Brothers.

I bought EVOO...  Parmigiano Reggiano... A tiny bit of prosciutto di Parma... Fresh mozzarella for the end-of-my-vacation Caprese...  Some of the City's best hot Italian sausage...

....And the great counter guys talked me into a tiny wedge of Sardinian sheep's milk cheese with veins of black truffle running through it - Not for The Faint of Heart - but if the barnyard funk of sheep's milk cheese and the je ne sais quois of black truffles doesn't scare you away...

WOW.

I've been stocking up for Part Three of this wild journey:  Cleveland last spring... Boise for the summer... and now Cleveland Redux.  When we close in November, this adventure will have lasted over seven months!

Two more days at home, and then an early plane to Ohio on Thursday...

Very excited... but very sorry to leave home again so soon...

I know there are other cities in the world, but New York has, and always will have, my heart.
