You all know I'm an actor as well as a food-obsessive... Well, exciting news: I'm off to the Connecticut Rep today to play Ben Franklin (yes, really) in a wonderful play, O Beautiful by Theresa Rebeck...
The excitement of doing this really intriguing and important play is offset a bit by trying, for the first time, to juggle postings for This Old Chef with being out of town... not in my kitchen... and without my world-famous food photographer.
Here's my plan: I'm going to try to have enough posts and photographs stored away so that I can keep "new" stuff coming while I'm away. And then, after the play closes in October, I'll get back to Yonkers just in time to start filling This Old Chef with ideas, recipes, and info about my absolute favorite food time of the year...
