Sesame Noodles (Sort of...)

It's not often that I have a craving for kind of low-end take-out...  You know, the stuff you had delivered to the dorm late at night.  And every now and then I really want some sesame noodles...  but, of course, I feel the need to make them myself...

I realize that's a little crazy...  But, hey...

So one recent night, the craving hit, and I had no plan for dinner... so off I went.

Yes... I used my homemade pasta (I told you this was crazy).  The sauce was made by tossing natural crunchy peanut butter, sesame oil, lots of garlic, a bit of soy and fish sauce, and a hefty shot of my habañero sauce in the processor.  To thin it a bit, I added some stock and some coconut milk and a tiny bit of lime juice...

I barely barely cooked some shredded carrots... and tossed the carrots and sauce together with the cooked noodles. We ate it hot (couldn't wait for it to cool!)!

Not at all authentic, but really good, really spicy... with the garlic and habañero joining forces for an eye-opening, sweat-producing, gasp-inducing  meal.

Craving satisfied!!!!!
