Veggie Hash (When There's Nothing in the House)

It was one of those rare occasions when I had NO IDEA what to do for dinner...  AND I hadn't been shopping recently, so there was NOTHING in the house.  (Don't you hate it when that happens?)

So it was time to raid the freezer.  The first things I saw were frozen peas and corn... OK... I can do something with those.  But it was cold, so I wanted something meaty... but no meat.  Hmmm... I did have potatoes, and onions, and celery...

HASH!  I cubed and browned the potatoes, then lightly browned the onions, and celery, added some garlic, and then the frozen vegetables.  Instead of herbs, I decided to throw in a few pinches of the smoked sea salt I've been playing with lately... and then a ton of black pepper.  There was a bit of old but still good yogurt left... and all was well!  As you can tell, when I say "nothing in the house," it's pretty much like someone saying, "I have NOTHING to wear!"

There is always something...
