This morning there was a knock at the door. When I opened it, there was our wonderful nextdoor neighbor, Bruce, with a large wrapped package. When I opened it, I was struck speechless (NOT an easy thing to accomplish!)...
Bruce, who is a marvelous landscaper and woodworker (see the beautiful bowl peeking out from under the biscuits a few weeks ago), had made us a SPECTACULAR end-grain cutting board from a variety of very hard woods. It's ALMOST too pretty to use... but don't worry... I'll force myself!
As soon as Bruce starts selling his beautiful creations, I'll let you know...
